Dr. Daniel Moirao, State Administrator
Mike Foster, President (email@example.com)
Mr. Foster was elected to the school board in December 2007. He was raised in Salinas and graduated
from North Salinas High School in 1990. Mike is married to Robin Foster and has two daughters who
attend public schools in King City. Kirstie Foster is a Jr. at King City High School and Abigail Foster is
attending 8th grade at Chalone Peaks Middle School. The Foster family has resided in King City for 11
After high school Mike continued his education earning Associate of Science Degree in Fire Protection
Technology. Through the Office of the State Fire Marshall Mike continues his education and is a State
Certified Fire Officer.
Mike has worked for the Monterey County Fire Protection District for the last 19 years and currently
holds the position of Fire Captain.
Mr. Foster and his family attend the First Baptist Church of King City and enjoy volunteering their time to
the community. Mike is a youth leader for Fusion Youth Group and project leader for Blue Ribbon 4-H.
When time allows Mike enjoys almost any outdoor activity from hunting,hiking, or Geocaching.
Debra McAlahney-Dodson, Member (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Debra was elected as a SMCJUHSD board member in December 2009. She has been working and living in South Monterey
County since 2000.
Debra attended public school her entire primary and secondary school experience, and completed high school early by
taking a proficiency exam so she could work to help support her parents & family.
Because of her personal history she advocates for all children and continues to support the Board's efforts to ensure that SMCJUHSD continues its transformation and growth in being a "student centered" district where the educational needs and
academic success for all children are first and foremost.
Debra is a long-term Monterey County Dept of Social & Employment Services' employee. She is currently a CalWORKs
Employment Services Management Analyst and works out of both the Salinas and King City One-Stop Career Centers.
She is married to Steve Dodson who is a King City High School graduate, and has a daughter attending King City High
She and her husband are also the owners of SD Livestock &Cattle Company in San Ardo. Horses, cattle ranching and
agriculture are a passion for her along with supporting the efforts of keeping agricultural education strong and vibrant
Raul Rodriguez, Member (email@example.com)
Mr. Rodriguez was appointed to the school board in December, 2009. Raul grew up in Soledad and attended public schools, including Gonzales High School. He is married to Ana Sanchez and has two sons, ages 16 and 12, both who attend Greenfield schools. The family has made Greenfield their home for the last 20 years.
Mr. Rodriguez is a graduate of Hartnell College and The University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a clear, single subject teaching credential from Stanford University. With his experience as a teacher/ parent and having grown up locally, he understands the importance of Learning Communities as a way to improve the education and achievement of all students.
Mr. Rodriguez manages La Plaza Bakery in Greenfield, a family owned business. Prior to baking, he was a middle school teacher in Soledad for 10 years. He is actively involved in community groups, including: The Greenfield Rotary Club, The Greenfield Chamber of Commerce, The Greenfield Cemetery District and The Greenfield Baseball Club. Raul enjoys attending local sporting events, Cal Football, weekday afternoons at local parks and collecting old, rare, Latino poetry books.
Paulette Bumbalough, Member (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Paulette Bumbalough is Dean of Education Services and Economic Development at Hartnell
College. Her office is at the King City Education Center and responsibilities include providing
academic offerings for south county and a one-stop student service for the community. She
has been with Hartnell College for over 20 years working in various departments to include
student services, academic affairs and community education. Prior to her current position she
was a budget analyst with the u.S. government.

Paulette resides in Greenfield with her husband Jerry and they have three daughters who reside
in California and many grandchildren.
Bob White, Member (email@example.com)
Mr. White began serving on the SMCJUHSD Board of Education in December, 2011.
Bob was born and raised in the area and graduated from King City High School.
received his AA degree from Hartnell College and attended San Jose State
University. He is self employed and has owned and operated Bob White
Agency-Insurance and Real Estate in Greenfield for over 30 years.
Mr. White served on the Greenfield Union School District board of
trustees for 16 years, which included several terms as board President. He
has completed California School Board Association's Masters in Governance
training. Bob has been involved with the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce where
he served as President. He is a charter member of the Greenfield Rotary Club
and has served many rolls including two terms as President.
Mr. White is married to Gail Stewart-White and has two daughters. His older
daughter is a 2011 graduate of Greenfield High School and is now at Santa
Clara University. His younger daughter is attending Greenfield High School.
