Greetings from King City High School and welcome to our website. I am glad you have taken the time to learn more about our school. Over the past two years King City High School has made huge gains in our academic progress, student involvement in athletics, and on-campus clubs. All across our campus there is a shared feeling that we have departed from the not-so-good days and we have embarked upon a positive new course. In the past 2 years we have increased our API score by 59 points, for a score of 739. California expects an 8-12 point gain each year. We have surpassed these expectations, and have found ourselves with an API score that places us near the top of all schools in Monterey County. Our work is not done, as we continue our improvement, our focus needs to be on those students who are not performing as well as their classmates.
